The annual Shutesbury Christmas Tree Lighting and Santa Visit will take place on Sunday, December 7, 2025, at 4:30 p.m. on the Shutesbury Common. The event is sponsored by Shutesbury Community Church and is not school-sponsored. Activities include a community carol sing, the lighting of the Christmas tree, and Santa’s arrival. Free cider, donuts, and cocoa will be available. The event is open to all and will be held rain or shine.
