Families are invited to join biologists Caralyn Zehnder and Will Duncan for an aquatic invertebrate sampling program on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at 9:00 AM at Lake Wallace (behind the Belchertown Police Station, meeting point at the far end of Foley Field). Participants will investigate the life cycles of aquatic invertebrates such as dragonflies and damselflies, and sample the lake to observe these species firsthand.
This program is geared toward children ages 4 and up and encourages hands-on exploration. Participants are advised to wear play clothes and bring rain or water boots and insect repellent.
