Monarch Tagging Events at Hitchcock Center

The Hitchcock Center for the Environment (845 West St, Amherst) hosts two monarch tagging events led by educator Jennifer Unkles:

1. Free Community Tagging (Sept 6, 2025, 4:00–5:30 PM):
   • Learn about monarch migration and tagging
   • Hands-on tagging and release
   • Registration appreciated (all ages)
2. In-Depth Class (Sept 11, 2025, 4:00–5:30 PM):
   • $10–$25 donation per family (materials included)
   • Make a butterfly net to take home
   • Registration required (limited space)
