The Amherst Hockey Association hosts Try Hockey for Free Day on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at the Mullins Center Community Ice Rink (11 Paige St, Amherst). The event is for children ages 4–9 and includes:
- Free on-ice instruction for beginners
- Used gear sale (noon) – helmets and gloves required
- Bruins Academy Learn to Play program sign-ups ($200, includes full equipment)
