The UMass Amherst Bilingual Hub will host the International Symposium and Workshop: Unlocking the Opportunities of Bilingual Education in the Americas on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at Furcolo Hall, Carney Family Auditorium, 813 N Pleasant Street, Amherst, MA. The event brings together educators, researchers, and community leaders to discuss current opportunities and challenges in bilingual education across the Americas.
The symposium is sponsored by the UMass Amherst Center for Latin American, Caribbean & Latino Studies, supported by the College of Education and the College of Engineering, and organized by the Western Massachusetts Bilingual Hub. Attendance is free and open to all, with in-person and online options available.
