The Porter-Phelps-Huntington Museum will host Stories of Enslavement & Freedom on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at 6:00 PM at 130 River Drive, Hadley, MA. This free program is part of the Reading Frederick Douglass Together series and will include a reading of Douglass’s work with live music. The event explores the history of enslavement and the struggle for freedom, highlighting voices and stories from the 18th and 19th centuries.
