Author Mikołaj Grynberg and translator Sean Gasper Bye will discuss contemporary Jewish life in Poland on Thursday, October 9, 2025, at 7:00 PM at the Yiddish Book Center (1021 West St, Amherst). The conversation will explore identity, memory, and creativity, drawing from Grynberg’s recent works.
The event is presented in partnership with several UMass Amherst departments and the Jewish Studies programs at Mount Holyoke and Smith College. A livestream option is available. Books will be available for purchase and signing.
