The Hadley Public Library will host “Welcome to the Graveyards of Hadley,” a presentation by the Gravestone Girls, on October 22, 2025, from 6 to 7:30 pm. This 90-minute illustrated program will explore the history, art, and symbolism of local burial grounds. The talk includes photographs of original gravestones and examines cemetery traditions from the 1600s to the present day.
The event is open to the public and highlights the cemeteries of Hadley, Massachusetts, as part of a broader story of New England gravestone art and evolution.
