The Town of Amherst will begin curbside collection of bagged leaves on Monday, October 27, 2025. Leaves must be placed at the curb by 7:00 AM on the scheduled day for each area.
Collection proceeds by area: East & West Amherst (Oct 27), South Amherst (Oct 28), North Amherst (Oct 29), and Central Amherst (Oct 30). Only leaves in 30-gallon biodegradable paper bags are collected. Loose leaves must be taken to the Transfer Station. A second collection will begin the week of November 24.
