The Town of Amherst has formed the Amherst Black Reparations Committee (ABRC) to oversee the allocation of funds addressing harms from slavery and post-Reconstruction discrimination. Amherst residents are invited to volunteer and serve on this committee.
Applications will be reviewed starting September 2, 2025. Interested residents should complete a Community Activity Form.
