The Massachusetts Executive Office of Veterans Services (EOVS) has launched the MassVets Benefit Estimator, an online tool to help veterans and their families determine eligibility for financial assistance through the Chapter 115 Safety Net Program.
Benefits may include:
- Daily living expenses, rent assistance, and medical costs.
- Support for dependents and prevention of homelessness.
- Outpatient behavioral health services.
Veterans can use the estimator at EOVS’s website or contact their local Veterans Service Officer (VSO). For assistance, call (617) 210-5480.
About Chapter 115 Benefits Estimator
The Chapter 115 program provides financial support to eligible Massachusetts veterans and their families, covering essential needs such as food, shelter, clothing, fuel, and medical care. Eligibility is based on veteran status, Massachusetts residency, personal assets, income, and expenses.
