The Amherst Information Center is located at 35 South Pleasant Street, directly across from the Town Common and the historic Amherst Town Hall. It serves as a welcoming hub for visitors and residents seeking information about local events, attractions, and businesses.
Operated jointly by the Amherst Area Chamber of Commerce and the Amherst Business Improvement District (BID), the center provides resources on dining, shopping, lodging, and cultural activities in the area.
It’s an excellent starting point for exploring Amherst’s downtown and surrounding communities.
The center is open Monday through Friday from 10 AM to 4 PM, and on Saturdays from 10 AM to 2 PM. Whether you’re a first-time visitor or a long-time resident, the Amherst Information Center offers valuable insights into the town’s offerings.
