The young musicians from Crocker Farm Elementary School took the stage at Amherst Regional Middle School to showcase their progress and talent during a school concert on June 4.
The Crocker Farm Band was also in the house and took care of the second half of the annual concert.
Events like this bring together students, families, and educators from across the Amherst-Pelham Regional School District. They’re a celebration of music education and community spirit, as well as a chance for younger students to perform in a larger venue. Amherst Regional Middle School often hosts such district-wide events due to its central location and performance space.
Crocker Farm Elementary, located on South Pleasant Street, serves a diverse student body and places a strong emphasis on arts and music. The school orchestra includes students who are just beginning to learn their instruments, often starting in fourth grade, and continuing to grow through regular practice and school performances.
Music education is supported throughout the Amherst schools, with dedicated faculty and community partners helping to provide instruments, lessons, and performance opportunities.
