The first event in the “Wildwood Remembers” lecture series will be held on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at 7:00 PM at UMass Downtown (108 N. Pleasant St, Amherst). Dr. Ethan Carr, Professor of Landscape Architecture, and Rebecca Fricke, General Manager of Wildwood Cemetery, will present “Frederick Law Olmsted, Cemeteries, and the Gardenesque.”
The talk is free and open to the public. It is the first of a three-part series exploring UMass connections to Wildwood Cemetery.
