Hampshire College Farm will host a Clover Living Mulch Field Walk on July 31, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at 793 West Street, Amherst, MA. The event will include an overview of current mulch trials, equipment demonstrations, timing strategies, and an in-field soil health assessment.
The program is part of Momentum Ag’s broader effort to study Clover Living Mulch across the Northeast. Participants will learn about Hampshire’s techniques, challenges, and successes, and how these practices impact soil quality and scalability across various crops.
This event is free and designed for growers interested in strip-tillage, crimping methods, and improving soil health.
