Amherst Recreation and Amherst College Athletics will host a National Girls and Women in Sports Day event on Saturday, February 7, 2026, from 11:30 AM to 2:45 PM. The event, at the Amherst College Alumni Gym at 266 South Pleasant Street, invites girls and non-binary youth in grades 4-8 to try various sports in sessions led by college athletes. No prior experience is necessary.
Registration begins at 11:00 AM. The event is free, and participants are invited to a free Amherst College women’s hockey game at 3:00 PM. Pre-register through this link.
