A four-week chess club for children will be held on Thursdays from April 30 through May 21, 2026, 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM. Led by Andy Morris-Friedman, the club is recommended for ages 10 and up; children ages 8-9 may participate with an adult. Beginners and experienced players are welcome. Sessions will cover rules, piece movement, and winning strategies. The club will be held at the Shutesbury Public Library, 66 Leverett Road.
