The Belchertown Scholarship Fund is accepting applications for the 2026-2027 academic year. Graduating seniors who are Belchertown residents—including students at Belchertown High School, Pathfinder Regional Vocational Technical High School, and homeschooled students—are encouraged to apply. Scholarships may be used for tuition, books, and fees at colleges, trade schools, or certification programs. Applications are reviewed based on financial need, academic achievement, character, and extracurricular involvement.
Requirements:
- Submit a completed paper application (available at BHS, Pathfinder guidance offices, or Clapp Memorial Library).
- Include a transcript, FAFSA Student Aid Index, and one letter of recommendation.
- Provide an original essay (max 400 words) on the prompt: “Share how your lived experience informs your approach to learning and how your perspective affected your choice of post-secondary education.”
Completed applications must be dropped off at the Belchertown Central School Office, 14 Maple Street, by April 16, 2026, at 4:00 PM (no exceptions). For questions, email scholarship[at]belchertown.org.
