The Amherst Woman’s Club will host a talk by Dr. Rani Parker, “My Life as an Immigrant,” on Thursday, April 9, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Parker, an immigrant from India who has been a U.S. citizen for over 45 years, will reflect on her life and the influence of her immigrant experience on her career in international development and corporate-community engagement. A wine and cheese reception begins at 6:00 PM, followed by the talk at 6:30 PM.

Dr. Rani Parker is a former Director of Woman/Child Impact at Save the Children and founder of an international research and advisory firm. She now focuses on food security and human rights.
