The Belchertown Police Department will host its Youth Police Academy for students entering grades 8-12 from Monday, July 13, through Friday, July 17, 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM daily. Topics include patrol procedures, motor vehicle crash response, building searches, physical agility training, and a K9 demonstration. Each attendee will receive a water bottle, hat, and shirt. Participants must bring a lunch and snack daily.
