Forbes Library will host a “Cat Pawty” and storytime with Caldecott honoree Brian Lies on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at 4:00 PM. The event focuses on his picture book Cat Nap, which follows a kitten’s chase through nine iconic artworks from the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Cat-themed activities and crafts will follow the storytime. The event is part of Mass Kids Lit Fest.
