Family Activities, Fun Run & Magician 12:00-3:30 PM
The South Hadley Recreation Department will host a Grand Re-Opening Celebration at Buttery Brook Park on Saturday, May 16, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Family-friendly activities include a kids’ Fun Run, Disc Golf practice with local pros, school band and dance performances, and a magic show by Ed Popielarczyk at 1:00 PM (balloon sculptor and family entertainer). Food vendors and refreshments will be available.
Ribbon Cutting at 3:30 PM & Free Aquanett Concert at 5:30 PM
A community ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place at 3:30 PM. The celebration continues with a free evening concert featuring Aquanett, an 80s cover band with authentic staging, starting at 5:30 PM. Attendees are encouraged to bring folding chairs or picnic blankets.
