6-Week Course on Traditional Watercolor Techniques
Artist Giselle Harrington will teach “Watercolor Painting for Beginners” on Tuesdays from June 30 to August 4, 2026, 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, at Smith Vocational, 80 Locust Street, Northampton. Students will learn traditional methods of handling transparent watercolor, including washes, glazes, soft edges, wet-in-wet techniques, dry brush, and simplification of value shapes. The instructor holds an MFA from the School of Visual Arts and has studied at the Art Students League of New York and Grand Central Atelier.
