Basic Bike Maintenance Workshop at Hadley Library

Basic Bike Maintenance Workshop at Hadley Library

Learn DIY Bike Maintenance for Ages 10+

The Hadley Public Library will host a Basic Bike Maintenance workshop on Saturday, May 30, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at 50 Middle Street, Hadley. Led by Andy Morris-Friedman, participants will learn to wash, inspect, and lubricate their bikes for summer riding. The program is intended for patrons ages 10 and older; younger children are welcome to “help” their adults.

What to Bring – Not a Repair Workshop

Participants must bring a working bike, a bucket, several rags, a used toothbrush, and rubber gloves (the library may have some extras). Please note: This is not a repair workshop; only yearly maintenance will be performed. Rain date is Saturday, June 6.

To sign up and receive a reminder email, visit the library’s events calendar. Drop-ins welcome if space permits.
