Full-Time Tech Support Role with Benefits
The Town of Belchertown is seeking a tech-savvy Technical Assistant for its IT Department. This full-time, 35-hour-per-week position provides hardware, software, network, and cloud-based support across town departments. Responsibilities include serving as first point of contact for tech support, managing Microsoft 365 and Active Directory accounts, deploying and maintaining endpoints, and supporting cybersecurity initiatives.
Qualifications & Pay – Grade 6
Preferred qualifications include an associate’s degree in IT or related field (bachelor’s preferred), 1+ year of help desk experience, working knowledge of Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, Active Directory/Entra ID, familiarity with networking, cybersecurity best practices, and ticketing platforms. The start date is July 1, 2026.
