Exploring Dickinson Family Objects & National Identity
In celebration of America’s 250th anniversary, the Emily Dickinson Museum will host a free virtual program, “A Barefoot Citizen,” on Thursday, June 25, 2026, at 6:00 PM ET on Zoom. Keiter Family Executive Director Jane Wald will explore Dickinson family objects – including household ceramics, toys, and period artwork – within the context of national identity, beginning with the Centennial Exhibition of 1876.
