Free Family Crafts, Games & Activities – No Registration Required
UMass Downtown presents Fun Saturday Mornings, a free, family-friendly program series on Saturdays from July 11 through August 1, 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Each week features a hands-on activity.
Schedule
- July 11: Build Your Own Mini Aquariums – Create an underwater scene in a plastic mason jar with gravel, plants, divers, and fish.
- July 18: Make Your Own Shoebox Foosball Game – Build a mini soccer stadium and celebrate the World Cup finals.
- July 25: Paint & Plant – Decorate a terracotta pot, plant a seed, and watch it grow (National Take Your Houseplant for a Walk Day).
- August 1: Summer Send-Off Carnival – Games, treats, and music, in partnership with Amherst Rec. Pick your favorite craft from the summer to take home.
