Grammy-Nominated Ethnomusicologist – Sunken Garden, Hadley
The Porter-Phelps-Huntington Museum continues its 45th season of Wednesday Folk Traditions on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at 6:30 PM with Grammy-nominated ethnomusicologist Tim Eriksen. Eriksen’s music spans shape-note hymns, ballads, traditional fiddle and banjo, Balkan love songs, and originals. He is known for his work on the Oscar-winning film Cold Mountain and has performed with Kurt Cobain and Doc Watson. Concerts are held in the Sunken Garden at 130 River Drive, Hadley. Admission is $12, $2 for children 16 and under. Picnickers welcome starting at 5:00 PM.
