Free 8-Week Program on Local Government – Wednesdays, September 30 – November 18
The Town of Amherst announces the second annual All About Amherst: Civic Academy, a free 8-week program for residents and students to learn about local government, build connections, and get involved. Sessions are Wednesdays from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM (except the week of Veterans Day, when it will be Tuesday, November 10) at various locations. Applicants must be Amherst residents or students enrolled at an Amherst college/university and at least 16 years old. Deadline: Sunday, September 20, 2026.
