About Rick Paar:
Rick Paar is a psychologist, educator, and writer with over 35 years of experience in psychology and literature. He has taught courses ranging from Theories of Personality to Group Therapy, chaired the psychology department at Springfield College, and published essays in both psychological and literary journals.
Rick’s writing explores the human condition, blending psychology and storytelling. His travel memoir, God Bless America and Breakfast Burritos to Go, was published in December 2022. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Straw Dog Writers’ Guild and lives in Longmeadow with his family.
