Join historian Jennifer Rycenga for a talk on Canterbury Academy, the groundbreaking 1833 school for Black women, and its ties to Northampton’s abolitionist movement. The event includes a Q&A with the Northampton Reparations Commission and a walk to Park Street Cemetery to visit abolitionist Charles Burleigh’s grave.
