Carrie Finison is the author of critically acclaimed picture books like Don’t Hug Doug (ALA Notable Book) and Dozens of Doughnuts (Junior Library Guild selection). Her latest, Pigs Dig a Road (2024), blends humor and teamwork in a construction adventure. A lifelong writer—starting with her father’s typewriter at age seven—she now lives near Boston with her family and two cats.
