The Massachusetts SUNBucks program (formerly Summer EBT) is back, offering financial assistance to help low-income families purchase food for school-aged children during summer break.
- Eligibility: Families with children who qualify for free/reduced-price school meals
- Benefits: Pre-loaded EBT cards for grocery purchases
- Funding: Federally supported program
Application Option: Families not automatically enrolled must apply by September 1, 2025 via:
- DTA Connect (online portal)
- Paper application (available through schools)
