UMass Amherst and the Amherst Survival Center are collecting donations for the new Campus Pantry (opening September 6 at 472 N. Pleasant St.). The pantry will provide free groceries to students and staff in need.
Most Needed Items:
- Instant oatmeal, cereal, granola bars
- Single-serve shelf-stable milk
- Pull-tab canned goods (soup, beans, pasta)
- Snacks (dried fruit, crackers, energy bars)
- Individual portions (fruit cups, peanut butter packets, instant noodles)
Drop-off Locations (August 4–14, 2025):
- UMass Downtown (108 N. Pleasant St.): Tue–Fri 10 AM–6 PM; Sat/Sun 10 AM–5 PM
- Recreation Center (161 Commonwealth Ave): Mon–Fri 8 AM–8 PM
