Town offices and facilities in Belchertown will operate on adjusted schedules for the Thanksgiving holiday from Wednesday, November 26, 2025, through Friday, November 28, 2025.
On Wednesday, November 26, 2025, town offices will close at 12 PM, Clapp Memorial Library will close at 5 PM, and Belchertown Public Schools will be closed.
On Thursday, November 27, 2025, Thanksgiving Day, all town departments and facilities will be closed, including Belchertown Public Schools.
On Friday, November 28, 2025, town offices, the library, the transfer station, and Belchertown Public Schools will remain closed, while the Chestnut Hill Community School Pool will be open. Public safety services, including police and fire, will remain on duty 24 hours a day throughout the holiday period.
These schedule changes affect residents who need town services, school families, library users, pool patrons, and transfer station customers, and are intended to align municipal operations with the Thanksgiving holiday.
