A community reading of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights will take place on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at 5:30 PM on the North Common in front of Amherst Town Hall. A community discussion will follow from 6 PM to 7 PM at the Bangs Community Center in the Large Activity Room. Residents, students, and community members are invited to attend both portions of the event.
Registration is strongly encouraged. Hosted by the Town of Amherst Human Rights Commission and the Department of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, in partnership with Amherst-Pelham Regional Public Schools and Amnesty International.
