Amherst College Academic Technology Services will host a non-credit genealogy workshop titled “Where Do You Think You’re From?” on Thursday, January 15, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The event will be held in Room E208 of the Science Center on the Amherst College campus. The workshop will teach participants how to use online resources, archival documents, and the free software Gramps to research family history, map family movements, and document findings.
The event is free and open to the public, but registration is required. Priority for limited seating is given to the Amherst College and Five College communities until January 5, after which it is first-come, first-served. Register in advance at the Amherst College events website.
