Leverett Library will host a public poetry reading and conversation on Thursday, February 12, 2026, from 5:30 to 6:30 pm in Leverett, Massachusetts. Amherst College Writer-in-Residence and award-winning poet George Abraham will read from Heaven Looks Like Us: Palestinian Poetry, a collection co-edited in 2025. Abraham will be joined in conversation by Hannah Moushabeck, a Leverett-raised co-owner of Northampton-based Interlink Publishing. The discussion will focus on Palestinian poetry, the experience of living in the Palestinian diaspora in western Massachusetts, and the role of literature in expressing cultural identity and resilience. Time will be reserved at the end of the program for audience questions.
