Salary Ranges & Certification Requirements
The Town of Belchertown is seeking a dedicated Firefighter/Paramedic. Salary ranges:
- Firefighter/Paramedic: 70,412–89,959
- Firefighter/Basic EMT: 58,837–75,064 (EMT-Basic hires must complete Paramedic program within 2 years)
Key Qualifications
- Valid MA driver’s license
- EMT Paramedic certification (or current enrollment in Paramedic program)
- Firefighter I & II certification (or ability to complete MA Firefighting Academy Recruit Training upon hire)
- CPR certification
- Ability to pass Commonwealth MA Firefighting Physical Abilities Test (PAT) prior to start
