The LAVA Center is accepting submissions for its 4th annual On the Boards new play festival, to be held in June 2026. The festival presents new or developmental works by Massachusetts resident playwrights as script-in-hand readings, followed by facilitated talkback sessions. The festival is seeking both plays and directors; modest honoraria are offered. All experience levels are welcome. The application deadline is Monday, March 16, 2026.
