Senator Jo Comerford’s office is accepting applications for internships in both the district and State House offices. Interns play a critical role in supporting the office’s work and engage in tasks such as:
- Managing and tracking constituent contacts
- Researching legislation and constituent inquiries
- Drafting letters to state agencies and constituents
- Creating social media communications
- Assisting with event organization
- Monitoring news and events in the Senator’s district
Internships are available for 10-20 hours per week and align with the fall, spring, and summer school sessions.

Internship Sessions and Deadlines
- Spring (January–May): Applications reviewed starting December 1, with notifications sent by mid-December.
- Summer (June–August): Applications reviewed starting February 15, with notifications sent by March 15.
- Fall (September–December): Applications reviewed starting July 1, with notifications sent by August 1.
