$20-$25/hour – Invasive Plant Control on Coastal Plain Ponds
The Massachusetts Division of Fisheries and Wildlife (MassWildlife) is hiring three Seasonal Habitat Management Field Technicians for contracted positions. Work focuses on controlling invasive plant species on Coastal Plain Ponds across Massachusetts, with significant time in Southeastern Massachusetts. Duties include identifying and treating invasive plants with herbicides, monitoring effectiveness, using GPS and mapping software, and engaging with landowners and the public. Applicants must obtain a MA Pesticide Applicator License before starting. In-state travel required; state vehicles may be available.
