The Village of Light Ashram will host its 3rd annual Walk for Peace on Sunday, June 15, 2025, from 10:45 AM to 1:30 PM. Participants will gather at Leverett Elementary School (85 Montague Road) at 10:45 AM for an 11:00 AM walk to the Ashram (83 Shutesbury Road, 1.6 miles). The event includes:
- 12:00–1:30 PM: Light refreshments, a Peace Concert by Onatah Love, and remarks by Sister Clare Carter (New England Peace Pagoda) and GurujiMa (Village of Light Ashram).
The walk honors those affected by global conflicts and affirms commitments to peace. A shuttle will be available for return trips.
