The Amherst Police Department has added K-9 Officer Mojo, a two-year-old Belgian Malinois, to its K-9 Unit. The dog, donated by The Hometown Foundation Inc., is a dual-purpose patrol and explosives detection canine, nationally certified through the North American Police Work Dog Association (NAPWDA). His handler is Officer Josh Santos, a former Military Working Dog handler who joined the department in 2022.
