The Downtown Amherst Foundation (DAF) has appointed Claudia Pazmany as its new executive director, effective June 1, 2026. Pazmany previously served as executive director of the Amherst Area Chamber of Commerce (2019-2024) and most recently as chief development officer for Martin Luther King Jr. Family Services in Springfield. In her new role, she will focus on the Foundation’s signature cultural venue, The Drake, as well as on expanding arts access and community partnership.
