Community Wellness & Resiliency Conversation

Four-Part Series on Healing from Harm

The Town of Amherst will host the first session of a four-part Community Wellness and Resiliency Conversation series on Thursday, May 28, 2026, from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bangs Community Center Large Activity Room, 70 Boltwood Walk. Facilitated by community leader Andrea Battle, this session will be an open conversation about the journey through harm and hurt to repair. The series addresses topics including domestic violence, racism, the closure of Hampshire College, and overall community wellness and resiliency. Subsequent sessions are on June 11, June 18, and June 25.

Free Light Meal & Childcare – Registration Required

The Town’s Public Health, CRESS, and DEI departments are hosting the series. A light meal and childcare will be provided. Registration is required to ensure sufficient food and staff, but sign-ups are accepted even on the day of the event.
