State Representative Mindy Domb and community partners are organizing the Light & Love Community Food Drive in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. A primary collection will be held on Monday, January 19, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Amherst Survival Center, located at 138 Sunderland Road. Donations of non-perishable food and essential personal care items will support the center’s food pantry and community distributions.
Leading up to the 19th, donations can also be placed in collection boxes at Amherst Town Hall, the Senior Center, the Police Department, and the Jones Library.
