Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and immigrant rights activist Jose Antonio Vargas will speak on Wednesday, April 9, 2025 (5:00–6:30 PM) at Johnson Chapel, Amherst College. The event, moderated by Professor Sony Coráñez Bolton, will explore undocumented immigration, advocacy, and democracy, drawing from Vargas’ work with Define American, a nonprofit reshaping narratives about immigrant experiences.
