The Amherst Town Clerk’s Office is now distributing nomination papers for the November 4, 2025 Town Election. All registered voters may run, except District Councilor candidates, who must live in their district.
Papers are due by 5 PM on Tuesday, September 16, 2025. The Town Clerk’s Office (4 Boltwood Ave) is open Monday–Friday, 8 AM to 4:30 PM.
