A virtual public meeting regarding proposed dam repairs and other improvements at Puffer’s Pond will be held on Tuesday, February 10, from 7:15 PM to 8:15 PM. The Town of Amherst and state officials from the Massachusetts Environmental Policy Act (MEPA) Office will present the project and the environmental review process. The meeting is an opportunity for the public to ask questions and provide comments on the proposed plans, which include dam repair, trail restoration, accessibility improvements, and ecological enhancements.
The meeting will be held via the link on the town calendar. To request language interpretation, accommodations, or an on-site tour, email townmanager[at]amherstma.gov by February 5. Public comments can be submitted via the Puffer’s Pond Project Feedback Form or in writing to the MEPA office by February 23.
